Potty training

We've been giving Colton some more independence in the bathroom, and he does pretty well for the most part. Today we sat down to eat lunch, and bless his heart, everytime we sit down to eat he decides he needs to go potty. So, Adam helped him with his pants, and Colton went off to the potty by himself. A few minutes later he comes into the kitchen to inform us that he went poo poo on his step stool. Poor guy was standing up to pee- and diarrea came out all over the rug and step stool!! My wonderful husband cleaned it all up. So we get resituated to finish lunch, and Connor- who is in the high chair starts pooping. Usually, if he looks like he's going to poop, I change his diaper to a disposable--- well, as luck would have it, I picked him up, and there was diarrea filling his cloth diaper. So, it was my turn for clean up duty. Needless to say, nobody had much of an appetite after all.
